Skin cancer awareness logoThroughout her 30 years of medical practice, Marina Arnold, R.N. has dedicated a majority of her service to the cosmetic dermatology field. She also worked as a hospice nurse and various other specialties. After treating a countless number of patients with sun damaged skin, she realized the importance of sun protection. Sunscreen lotions serve only a small role in sun protection. Sun protective clothing is another extremely valuable and effective tool in sun protection. Although after searching far and wide, and with her patients conveying a desire for a more fashionable look. Marina realized that there were virtually no clothing brands offering sun protective factors in their fabrics while maintaining a level of sophisticated design and style.

Sun Protection is Vital against harmvul UV raysThus, SPF Addict® was conceived out of a simple desire to blend environmental consciousness with personal health and style. The collection was created in collaboration with a team of seasoned apparel designers with over 20 years experience in apparel design and development. Our fabrics are developed with a cutting edge technology, utilizing organic "green" fibers that carry an unparalleled level of sun protective factors. These fabrics are among the first of their kind to be developed, individuals with sensitive skin will enjoy the comfort and softness of this technology.

We have a high level of passion for what we do, and oversee every step in the process of creating our clothing. Because of our high standards we work with manufacturers and sewers in the U.S.A., we are able to visit frequently to ensure a high level of integrity and craftsmanship.
